In order to accomplish as much as we can on this Fire, trace your pattern with a stylist using graphite paper on a clean piece of china.  Use a ruler or credit card to get straight lines on the buildings.

Mix Air Blue and Hair Brown to obtain a very light grey, add Pen Oil to this mixture.  This mixture is for the outlines of the building.

Mix Black with Pen Oil for the windows and the top of the light house.  Leave off the fence lines and tree lines.

You may use any size china.  This pattern is the size for a 8" x 10" tile.  Resize to fit your piece of porcelain.

OIL CAPITAL CHINA PAINTERS

Come join in the fun and fellowship with your friends in china painting and attend the
“DOWNTON ABBEY INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS
GARDEN PARTY AND CARD GAMES”

Date:            Friday, May 8, 2015

Hours:         1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (regular Club hours)

Place:           Junita Lohr
                       6331 South 73 East Avenue

We are stepping back in time to the Downton Abbey Era from 1906 to 1920.  Go digging into your closet and drawers, find the long skirt and blouse or dress, jewelry, hat, gloves and dress yourself with grace of the elegant women of Downton Abbey (optional participation).  There will be a very special prize for the person who depicts the Downton Abbey era style of dress the best.

No need to know how to play this card game…this is so simple.  It is time for fun to kick off our summer with new Oil Capital Officers for 2015-2016 and pay tribute to those that worked so hard this last year.  This will be a picture to pass along to your children and grandchildren. Oh what fun it will be!

Hosts:
               Lois Higgins and Junita Lohr

I use my medium as my cleaner, Mineral Spirits for cleaner if needed, please not turpentine.

*Viva Paper Towel

* I use Aquaflow brushes, sizes I use most are 3/8 in, 1/2  inch, & 5/8 in brushes
A good scroller, my favorite is a Simply Simmons Script#1 from Michaels.

*Pink Cosmetic Sponge for softening edges or wipe outs.

*At Michael's and Hobby Lobby there are some great wipe out tools called color shapes these are great as they do not leave a build up.

*  I do not trace but if you feel uncomfortable without a tracing bring those supplies.

* I am looking forward to our time together.

* Thanks,  Cherryl Meggs, Porcelain Artist & Teacher
