EASTERN OKLAHOMA PORCELAIN TEACHERS CLUB

ANNOUNCEMENT
EASTERN OKLAHOMA PORCELAIN TEACHERS CLUB (the “Club”) is a newly formed club on the Eastern portion of the State of Oklahoma and under the Bylaws of the Oklahoma World Organization of China Painters Inc., a nonprofit organization (“OK WOCP INC”).  The Club is formed to promote and educate artists, connoisseurs and patrons of the fine art of porcelain painting, which is an ongoing concern for members of OK WOCP INC., and other porcelain organizations across the United States and world.  The Club will strive to grow and promote the fine art form through instructing individuals to become teachers, learn techniques specifically for porcelain painting, have a diverse subject matter taught, and share with others through the new Club.  In addition, the Club chose to meet in Tulsa, OK, as it is centrally located on the Eastern portion of Oklahoma.  The Club members also chose one of Tulsa’s newer libraries with a larger population of visitors to the library, which are potential Club members.   The Club will design a flier and request each Club Member to deliver to several locations all across eastern Oklahoma to actively bring awareness that porcelain painting is alive and well. The newly formed Club will hold its meetings at the Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 East 93 Street, Tulsa, OK 74133, which is just off the Creek Turnpike for ease in access.  Our meeting time is on the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Ash Room at the Library.  The Club’s first meeting is May 21, 2016 with Pat Dickerson teaching “Violets”, which is the Club’s color, Purple. The Club’s Motto is “Teaching and Sharing Porcelain Art”.Our newly elected officers are:
President
Lois Higgins                  918-224-3063
