KILNS THAT HAVE A "DIAL SWITCH" INDICATING LOW, MEDIUM AND HIGH:

Fire 45 minutes on LOW (leave lid to kiln propped OPEN for this state to eliminate firing fumes.)

Fire 30 Minutes on MEDIUM (close lid and put in plug)

Fire 15 Minutes on HIGH OR UNTIL CONE DROPS OVER KILN SITTER.

TURN SWITCHES ON KILN TO "OFF" POSITION

KILNS THAT HAVE "KILN SITTER" WITH NUMBERED DIALS

Place cone in Kiln Sitter toward the end of the metal prongs. Middle prong above the cone and two router prongs underneath the cone.

Push in "button" to start KILN.

FIRE 45 minutes on #2 on the dial (equivalent to LOW) ( leave lid to kiln propped open for this stage to eliminate firing fumes.)

FIRE 30 minutes, on 6 on the dial (euqivalent to MEDIUM {close lid to kiln at this stage and put plug in }
