Have you marked your calendar? November 14 is just around the corner for Teacher’s club meeting and there is a great program planned.
The demonstration subject at Teachers Club for the November 14, 2015meeting will be Shirley Weston be teaching the “OLD TIME SANTA FACE”. The list of supplies below is for your convenience in preparation now for this Holiday Santa. Please take the time to trace your Santa face on your porcelain….you might want to even get more than one started.

IMG 3121.jpg - Laying on the colors (Pink Santa Hat)
IMG 3122.jpg - blending colors
IMG 3130.jpg - First Fire
IMG 6121.jpg - Red Santa Hat
Colored picture attached, black/white picture attached for your convenience in transferring onto your porcelain.
Porcelain: The plate that this Santa is 8” x 8”. Smaller or larger works, just adjust the size of pattern for your piece of porcelain.
Portrait colors if you have them, if not Shirley will have enough to share
Hat color may be pink, ruby, green, blue, lavender or red...you choose!
Cool Shadow
Greens for holly...chartreuse & holly, or shading green...any green really
Pompadour for the berries on the hat
Cold gray...if you don't have, bring white, black and blue, and we will mix.
Hat color
Pink
Light purple or lavender
General Supplies: Regular brushes, graphite paper, usual tools, brush cleaner and an open painting medium. If you like red sarel, it is good for portraits.
Gather up your supplies now and come and join Teachers Club on November 14 to support Teachers Club, and promote this fine art of china painting.

You will note that if you look at the list of names in your 2015-2016 yearbook for the Teachers Club and look at the list of names on my Teachers Distribution List you will notice that they do not match. The reason, former members of the Teachers Club are missed and we encourage them to rejoin the club.
