OK WOCP INC has lost one of its long time china painters, Barbara J. MacDonald, on May 6, 2019. Barbara was a long time member of the Oil Capital China Painters Club of Tulsa, OK, and a member of the World Organization of China Painters for many years until her decline in health. Barbara Jean MacDonald, Tulsa, formerly of Detroit Michigan passed away May 6, 2019. She lived a full and wonderful life as the matriarch of her loving family. She blessed and encouraged many by her wisdom and commitment to family and her Lord and Savior.Barbara was born February 3, 1932 in Detroit Michigan to parents, John and Suzy Crocker. She was one of two children and greatly loved her Tommy. Barbara married John MacDonald in 1954 in Detroit and remained married until his passing in 1999. Barbara and John moved to Tulsa in 1974. She was known to many as "Granny" and brought joy to all with her attitude about life and caring for others.Barbara was an avid reader and China painter who spent most of her adult life maintaining her and John's family genealogies. Over the past 5 years, Barbara lived with her daughter Mary where she enjoyed the company of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Her oldest son passed away in 2008 and Barbara is survived by her children Mark, Matthew, Mary, Martin and Daniel as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation will be 4-6 PM, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.


Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 10, 2019 at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn
